Wendy and Peter Pan

★★★★★
Dan Krikler absolutely superb as Peter Pan

Follow Wendy on an awfully big adventure as she journeys far from the safety of the Darling’s nursery on her quest to find the key to her parents’ forgotten happiness, discovering how the power of just one happy thought can set flight to newfound joy.

Royal Shakespeare Company’s Wendy & Peter Pan at the Barbican is fantastic. Every part of the production spot on – the set looks incredible, the flying sequences were thrilling, and the lighting, video, and sound all came together beautifully. The choreography and staging were slick and imaginative, and the whole show just flowed perfectly from one scene to the next.

You could really tell how much care and creativity went into every detail. The lighting and video effects made the world of Neverland feel alive, and the sound and music added so much atmosphere without ever being over the top. Everything worked in sync to create a show that was exciting, emotional, and full of heart.

And I have to say, Dan Krikler was absolutely superb as Peter Pan. He completely owned the role – funny, full of energy, and genuinely moving at times too. It was one of those performances you don’t forget in a hurry. A brilliant night at the theatre all round.
